ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application in Na.Ka.No.2554/A4/2025, pending before the first respondent, as expeditiously as possible within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr. S. Ramsundarvijayraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr. M. Mahaboob Athiff, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's application in Na.Ka.No.2554/A4/2025 is pending consideration

before the first respondent. Despite the lapse of considerable time, no orders have been passed on the said application. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.

5. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner would be

satisfied if this Court issues a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application in Na.Ka.No.2554/A4/2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Nos.1

and 2 submitted that the petitioner's application would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the competent authority within the time stipulated by this Court.

7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and without

expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application in Na.Ka.No.2554/A4/2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all necessary

parties, if required. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
