PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to direct the III Additional District Court, (PCR), Madurai, to accept the surrender of the petitioners in connection with Crime No.18 of 2024 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Keelavalavu Police Station, Madurai District and subsequently in the event of any bail application is made to be filed by them on the date of their surrender before the said Court, the same has to be

decided on merits and in accordance with law on the same day itself forthwith and pass such other or further orders as this Court may deem fit. For Petitioners : Mr.J.Sankarapandian For R1 and R2 : Mr.B.Arun Counsel for State of TN(Crl.Side)

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by A1 and A2 in Crime No.18 of 2024, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender.

2. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction

to the III Additional District Court, (PCR), Madurai District, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender in Crime No.18 of 2024, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.

3. The petitioners shall surrender before the concerned Court on or before 22.07.2026.
