ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the present Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned notification of the respondent dated 06.02.2018 and the consequential public notice dated 21.02.2018 and for quashing Regulation 3(1) Clause (viii) of the impugned notification dated 06.02.2008, he prays this Court to grant liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application to the University Grants Commission in the manner known to law.

2.In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application to the University Grants Commission in the manner known to law. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
