.....the petitioner, who was moving in a motor cycle bearing reg.no.ka- 15-ed-0478 on the kasaragod-mangalore national highway; he was intercepted, the contraband was seized and he was arrested. the petitioner is in judicial custody from 02.07.2021 onwards.2. heard the learned counsel on both sides.3. the petitioner does not have criminal antecedents to hiscredit. for the last nearly 28 days he is in custody. the investigation has reached final phase and therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not warranted. he shall be released on bail on the following conditions:- i) the petitioner shall execute bond for rs.50,000/-(rupees fifty thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional court; ii) he shall not try to contact or influence the witnesses or tamper with the evidence; iii) he shall not leave the country without permission of the jurisdictional court; iv) he shall not involve in any crime during the period on bail; v) he shall appear before the investigating officer/committal/trial court as and when required;vi) the petitioner shall strictly follow the various guidelinesissued by the state and central governments with respect to keeping of social distancing in the wake of covid 19 pandemic; vii) if any of the above conditions are violated by the petitioner, the jurisdictional court will be at liberty to cancel the bail in accordance with law. the bail application is allowed as above. sd/- k.haripal judge jms/30.07 //true copy// p.a to judge

NO. 5549 OF 2021 (CRIME NO.123/2021 OF KUMBLA EXCISE RANGE, KASARAGOD) PETITIONER/ACCUSED: HAREESH AGED 26 YEARS S/O.CHANDRAPPA, THIRAKAPPA ALAGIRI, KRISHNAPUR VILLAGE, SAVANTHUR TALUK, HAVERI DISTRICT, KARNATAKA STATE. ORDER

Petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.123/2021 of Kumbala Excise Range in Kasargod, which was registered on 02.07.2021 after seizing 18 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor from the petitioner, who was moving in a motor cycle bearing Reg.No.KA- 15-ED-0478 on the Kasaragod-Mangalore National Highway; he was intercepted, the contraband was seized and he was arrested. The petitioner is in judicial custody from 02.07.2021 onwards.

2. Heard the learned counsel on both sides.

3. The petitioner does not have criminal antecedents to his

credit. For the last nearly 28 days he is in custody. The investigation has reached final phase and therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not warranted. He shall be released on bail on the following conditions:- i) The petitioner shall execute bond for Rs.50,000/-(Rupees Fifty Thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional court; ii) He shall not try to contact or influence the witnesses or tamper with the evidence; iii) He shall not leave the country without permission of the jurisdictional Court; iv) He shall not involve in any crime during the period on bail; v) He shall appear before the Investigating Officer/committal/trial court as and when required;

vi) The petitioner shall strictly follow the various guidelines

issued by the State and Central Governments with respect to keeping of social distancing in the wake of Covid 19 pandemic; vii) If any of the above conditions are violated by the petitioner, the jurisdictional Court will be at liberty to cancel the bail in accordance with law.
