The petitioner has approached this Court for speedy disposal of C.C. No.1171/2016 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court- II, Nedumangad. A report was called for from the concerned Magistrate and he has requested that eight months time may be required to dispose of the matter. Considering the present pandemic situation, the time sought for by the learned magistrate is very reasonable particularly in view of the fact that there is
huge pendency in that court and old cases are also pending. Hence, the learned magistrate is directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously possible, at any rate, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
