JUDGMENT

Dated this the 14th day of December, 2022 This original petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India and the short prayer that has been pressed in this petition is to direct the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Neyyattinkara, to expedite the trial and disposal of S.C.No.712/2016 (a under under the five plus old category), within a time fixed by this Court.

2. On 29.11.2022, this Court called for a report from the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Neyyattinkara and the learned Assistant Sessions Judge reported as under:
