ORDER
The petitioner is a retired Village Administrative Officer and he had attained the age of superannuation on 31.12.2013. However disciplinary proceedings was initiated as against the petitioner and he was imposed with a punishment of 1/3rd cut in the pension for a period of 10 years and withholding of the DCRG amount due to the petitioner. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the order of punishment has been effected from 01.01.2014 to 31.12.2023. Therefore, after completion of this punishment, the pension has to be revised from 01.01.2024. However, it has not been revised and the DCRG amount also has not been disbursed. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation and has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the petitioner's representation is under consideration and they would take a decision within a period of four weeks. 4.This court considered the rival submissions made. 5.Since the order of punishment has already been implemented and the punishment period is also over and considering that the respondents would take a decision within a period of four weeks, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
