Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3, in particular 3rd respondent to measure and erect survey stones in the petitioner’s property situated at Plot No.19, Vinaya Nagar 6th Street, Okkiyamthoraipakkam, Chennai - 600 097 on the basis of the petitioner’s online application dated 13.11.2025 vide No.2025/0123/02/002094.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on his application, dated 13.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 13.11.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Since no adverse order has been passed against the 4 th respondent, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the 3 rd respondent
is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner’s property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the Page No.2 of 4 objections, if any, from the 4th respondent, neighbouring land owners as well as any other party as they deem fit. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:-
(a) Before surveying the lands in question, the 3rd respondent is directed to issue notice to the 4 th respondent, neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, whom they deem fit to put on notice.
(b) After receiving objections if any and after
considering the same, the 3rd respondent shall conduct the survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
(c) There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : Yes / No
