JUDGMENT

Petitioner is the holder of Ext.P1 regular permit which was valid upto 19.4.2021.The petitioner made an application for renewal of permit and also submitted G-Form. Later, the petitioner submitted Ext.P2 application for replacement of the existing vehicle with a later model vehicle KL-09-N-1180 for operating the service. According to the petitioner, Ext.P2 application for replacement of the vehicle is not so far considered by the respondents. Accordingly, the petitioner prays for a direction directing the respondents to pass orders on Ext.P2 application for replacement of vehicle in respect of Ext.P1 permit on the route Thirssur-Karalam expeditiously.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondent.

3. According to the learned Government Pleader, the

petitioner has to produce current records of the vehicle. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that current records are already produced. In the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made at the Bar, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application for replacement of vehicle submitted by the petitioner in respect of Ext.P1 permit and to pass appropriate orders thereon expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
