JUDGMENT

Petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers: "i) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing the 1st respondent to grant electric connection to the building having No.EP 17/156 of Edacherry Grama Panchayath, within a specific time period. ii) issue such other orders as this Honourable Court deems fit to grant." The interim order dated 12.04.2018 reads as follows: "There will be an interim order directing the respondents concerned to provide electric connection to Kachery Mahall Juma Masjid provisionally, without insisting for ownership certificate, subject to the outcome of the writ petition.

On the basis of the aforementioned interim order
