ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 04.04.2026.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 04.04.2026 to measure the subject property situated in Paramanandhal Village, Chengam Taluk Tiruvannamalai District and to grant a separate patta in favour of the petitioner, his mother and his brother with new sub-division number. Since no steps have been taken, the present writ petition is filed.
3. The learned Government Counsel appearing for the Official
respondents would submit that the petitioner’s representation dated 04.04.2026 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed by the respondents within a period of eight weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the Official respondents.
5. In view of the same, the 1 st & 2nd respondents are directed to consider
the petitioners representation dated 04.04.2026 and complete the survey and issue separate patta to the petitioner. In the event if any assistance is sought for Page2 of 4
by the Officials, the concerned jurisdictional Police is directed to provide Police protection to survey and demarcating the properties by laying survey stones. It is made clear that in the event if the possession of the property is disputed after the survey and laying survey stones, the Officials shall not indulge in any way for taking over the possession of the properties and the same can be carried out by following the due process of law i.e., by approaching the civil Court for recovery of possession. The 1st & 2nd respondents are directed to complete the said exercise within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above terms. No costs. Index: Yes/No
