When this matter was called today, the learned Senior Government Pleader - Smt.K.Amminikutty, affirmatively stated that there is no proposal to acquire any further lands from the petitioners for the purpose of the upgradation of the Punalur- Ponkunnam Highway. Recording the afore submissions and leaving liberty to the respondents, if so found necessary in future, to initiate necessary and appropriate legal measures for acquisition from the petitioners, I close this writ petition without any further orders.
