Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the second Respondent in Order No.1461/2025-PER-

DTE-P2DA26-PER-DG-SNTS dated 26.12.2025 and the consequential order

of the Second Respondent in Order No.02/2026-PER-DTE-P2DA26-PER-DG dated 09.02.2026 and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned and direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to post him any one of the stations as sought for in his representation dated 11.02.2026 so as to proceed on voluntary retirement with effect from 31.03.2027.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking the following prayer:-

“to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the second Respondent in Order No.1461/2025-PER-DTE-P2DA26- PER-DG-SNTS dated 26.12.2025 and the consequential order of the Second Respondent in Order No.02/2026-PER-DTE-P2DA26- PER-DG dated 09.02.2026 and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned and direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to post him any one of the stations as sought for in his representation dated 11.02.2026 so as to proceed on voluntary retirement with effect from 31.03.2027.”

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner joined service in the Central Reserve Police Force as Constable/General Duty(CT/GD) on 01.12.1990. It is his further case that he has been all along posted in Jammu & Kashmir, North Eastern States, LWE areas and was posted to 77 Battalion at Chennai during 2021 and had joined duty on 24.10.2021 and is presently Page2 of 6 serving as Subedar Major(SM/GD). After completing his tenure at Chennai, it appears the petitioner has chosen the following Battalion as his primary choices for transfer:

4. CSJWT BGM Karnataka The petitioner was subsequently transferred to 42 Bn, CRPF located at

Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh as per his 2nd choice vide the impugned order

dated 26.12.2025 by the second respondent. 3.The grievance of the petitioner now is that he requires a posting at any of the GC stationed in Karnataka, Kerala (or) Tamilnadu (GC Bengalure, Avadi

(or) Pallipuram) for one year to arrange the marriage of his daughter, for which,

he has given a representation to the first respondent requesting a personal hearing. However, the same is yet to be considered by the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the above mentioned prayer. 4.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. Page3 of 6 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is now directed to consider the representation of the petitioner empathetically and to pass appropriate orders within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
