This writ petition has been filed to direct the official respondents to permit the petitioner to run bitumen mix plant in the petitioner’s land, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, he has been granted permission to run the bitumen mix plant in his property, but despite the same, respondents 7 and 8 are causing hindrance for the petitioner to run the bitumen mix plant in his land. The petitioner had given a representation on 06.02.2026 to the official Page2 of 6 respondents requesting them to prevent respondents 7 and 8 from causing hindrance to the petitioner in running the bitumen mix plant. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.M.Shahjahan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 5. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the sixth respondent. Since no adverse order is being passed against respondents 7 and 8, notice to respondents 7 and 8 is dispensed with by this Court. 4.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. 5.No prejudice would be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the first respondent, who is the competent authority to dispose of the petitioner's representation, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of respondents 7 and 8, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 06.02.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections Page3 of 6 of respondents 7 and 8, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
