This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to sanction monitory benefits and all consequential benefits to the petitioner for the post of Health Inspector Grade-I from 26.07.2016 by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 26.09.2025 and 15.11.2025 within a time frame as fixed by this Hon’ble Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 26.09.2025 and 15.11.2025 and to sanction monitory benefits along with all consequential benefits to the petitioner for the post of Health Inspector Grade-I from 26.07.2016,
2. The petitioner was appointed as Health Inspector Grade-II pursuant to
G.O.Ms.No.305 dated 22.09.2009 and was posted at Government Primary Health Center, in Kakkadasam, Krishnagiri District. Subsequently, the Deputy Director of Health Services, Krishnagiri, issued a show cause notice calling upon the petitioner to explain as to why her services should not be terminated on the ground that her name was not sponsored by the Employment Exchange. Challenging the same, the petitioner W.P.No.24453 of 2012 and the same was allowed on 30.04.2019. thereafter, the petitioner’s services were confirmed by the first respondent vide Letter No.1887 dated 26.12.2019 with a direction to sanction all monetary and service benefits to the petitioner. Subsequently, the petitioner was promoted as Health Inspector Grade-I vide order dated 13.09.2021 issued by the 1st respondent. Though similarly placed persons got all monetary benefits and consequential service benefits, the same have not been Page2 of 5 extended to the petitioner till date. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representations dated 26.09.2025, and 15.11.2025 to the second respondent seeking grant of all monetary benefits from 26.07.2016. However, no action has been taken on the same till date. Hence, the present petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on records.
4. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought, without going into
the merits of the claim, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 15.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
