ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for an early disposal of her appeal, dated 27.11.2023 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2. The petitioner seeks deletion of the names of the respondents 5 to 11 in patta bearing Nos.1020 and 682 and thereafter, issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts

notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 to 11 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 5 to 11 is dispensed with by this Court. Page No.2 of 6

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction

is issued to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner’s appeal, dated 27.11.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 5 to 11 and any third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, by adhering to the principles of natural justice. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s appeal.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2 nd respondent

to dispose of the petitioner’s appeal dated 27.11.2023 seeking deletion of the names of the respondents 5 to 11 in patta bearing Nos.1020 and 682, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 5 to 11 and any third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by adhering to the principles of natural justice.
