ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to forebear the respondents from granting patta in respect of the “Government Poramboke Land” for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner’s representation dated 17.09.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he is running a quarry in the neighbouring

area of the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. According to the petitioner, the said properties are “Government Poramboke Land”. The petitioner claims that the respondents are proposing to grant pattas for the said lands, which will be detrimental to the petitioner’s interest in running the quarry.

3. The petitioner had given a representation on 17.09.2025 to the

respondents to forebear them from granting pattas in respect of the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

4. Mr. D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation.

7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass

final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation dated 17.09.2025, seeking to forebear the respondents from granting pattas for the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
