PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to de- freeze the bank Account No.007761900002959 maintained by the petitioner in the 3rd respondent’s branch which was frozen at the instance of the 1 st respondent’s notice u / s 91 of Cr PC dated 02.03.2022 sent in relation to RC No. 92 / DCT / CCT / 2022 F3 PS X CSR No. 93 - 2022.

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to de- freeze the bank Account No.007761900002959 maintained by the petitioner in the 3rd respondent’s branch which was frozen at the instance of the 1 st respondent’s notice u / s 91 of Cr PC dated 02.03.2022 sent in relation to RC No. 92 / DCT / CCT / 2022 F3 PS X CSR No. 93 - 2022. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the notice sent by the 1st respondent to the 3rd respondent bank, the petitioner’s bank account maintained with the 3rd respondent bank has been freezed. This writ petition is of the year 2022. Learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that he is not aware of the present status whether the petitioner’s bank account has been de-freezed or not. 3.In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is not inclined to keep the matter pending and hence, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent to de-freeze his bank account, if his account still remains under freeze. On receipt of the said representation by the petitioner, the 3rd respondent shall consider the same and dispose of within a period of 2 weeks from the date of the representation made by the petitioner. 4.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
