Respondent(s) PRAYER Directing the 1st and 2nd Respondents to take appropriate steps in Application No.2026/0123/31/000336 dated 19.01.2026 made to the respondents for survey and to issue with sketch for the extent of 15 cents as per the Registered Sale Deed dated 24.08.2020 registered as Document No.2349 of 2020 and Application No.2026/0123/31/000654 dated 31.01.2026 made to the respondents for survey and to issue with sketch for the extent of 15 cents as per the Registered Sale Deed dated 04.09.2020 registered as Document No.2574 of 2020 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the properties, which according to the petitioner are owned by him, based on his online applications dated 19.01.2026 and 31.01.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted applications through on-line on 19.01.2026 and 31.01.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same have not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr. R. P. Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents 2 and 3 if the said

authorities are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner’s property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom they deem it fit to enquire. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:-

(a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, whom they deem it fit to enquire;

(b) After receiving objections if any and after

considering the same, the respondents 2 and 3 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this

order.
