ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- “Mandamus to direct the respondents to increase and provide State Government monthly relief assistance Rupees 1,000/ - from to rupees 3,000 /- to the petitioner based on the representation 09/06/2022.”

2. The petitioner’s case is that she is fully eligible to receive monthly

relief assistance of Rs. 3,000/- from the Government, as she is a blind person with 100% disability in her eyes. In this regard, she had submitted a representation dated 09.06.2022 to the respondents seeking enhancement of her monthly assistance from Rs. 1,000/- to Rs. 3,000/-. However, to date, the same has not been considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and also

taking note that the petitioner’s representation dated 09.06.2022 has not been disposed of by the respondents to date, the Writ Petition is allowed. The respondents are directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner’s Page2 of 4 representation dated 09.06.2022 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
