This writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to issue the certified copy of the subject Will dated 02.04.1970. 2.The petitioner had earlier given a representation on 19.01.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed writ petition. 3.Mr.V.Sreedhar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse order is being passed against respondents 5 and 6, notice to respondents 5 and 6 is dispensed with by this Court. 4.However, as seen from the representation dated 19.01.2026 given by the petitioner, the prayer sought for in the said representation is for deletion of entries from the settlement register for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. The representation given by the petitioner was not for obtaining a copy of the registered will dated 02.04.1970. 5.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the earlier representation given by the petitioner may be treated as a representation given as per provisions of Section 23 of the Puducherry Settlement Act for the purpose of seeking a copy of the registered Will dated 02.04.1970.
