JUDGMENT

Dated this the 3rd day of January, 2023 The petitioner's team participated for the item Thiruvathira in the Kasaragod District School Kalolsavam and secured 6th place with A Grade. Dissatisfied with the result, the petitioner preferred an appeal, contending that the insufficient space on the stage and sound of the wooden platform had affected the team's performance. The appeal having been rejected by Ext.P3, this writ petition is filed.

2. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

3. A perusal of Ext.P3 shows that the appeal

committee perused the documents and had found that the stage was built as per the prescription in the Kalolsavam Manual. The appeal committee also noted the difference of 16 marks between the petitioner's team and the first placed team. -4-

4. In view of the conclusive finding in the appeal

that the stage was built in accordance with the prescription in the Kalolsavam Manual and taking into account the difference of 16 marks between the petitioner's team and the first placed team, I refrain from interfering with the impugned order.
