JUDGMENT
The petitioner is the 1st accused in C.C.No.845/2018 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Ambalapuzha.
2. The prayer sought for in this Original Petition, is to expedite the trial of the said case and complete the same within a time frame.
3. When the matter came up for admission on
23.12.2022, a report was called for from the Learned Magistrate as to the present status of C.C.No.845/2018 and the time required for completing the trial of the case in question. In response to the same, a report dated 29.12.2022 has been placed on record wherein it is mentioned that the trial can be completed within a period of 8 months.
4. Considering the reasons mentioned in the said
report, I find that the period specified by the learned Magistrate is reasonable. In the result, this Original Petition is allowed and the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Ambalapuzha is directed to complete the trial of C.C.No.845/2018 within a period of 8 months from the date of production of a copy this judgment. sd/ ZIYAD RAHMAN A.A.
