JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the 4th accused in Crime No.284 of 2008 of Njarakkal Police Station, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 427, 294(b) read with Section 34 IPC.

2. This writ petition is filed by the petitioner, highlighting

his grievance that even though the crime was registered in the year 2008, no final report was submitted so far. Therefore, he seeks for issuance of writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction to the 2nd respondent to file final report or charge sheet before the Juvenile Justice Board, Ernakulam.

3. In response to the averments contained in the writ

petition, a statement was submitted by the Station House Officer, Njarakkal Police Station, wherein it is mentioned that since the petitioner was a juvenile at the time of the commission of the crime, a split final report has already been filed before the Juvenile Justice Board, Ernakulam. In such circumstances, as the final report has already been W.P.(Crl.).No.1172/2022 3 submitted even before filing of this writ petition, no further orders are necessary.
