JUDGMENT

Dated this the 25th day of August, 2023 The petitioner is the registered owner of a stage carriage vehicle bearing registration No.KL-36/9190. The petitioner is presently operating on the basis of Ext.P1 temporary permit on a vacant route. The said temporary permit is valid upto 01.09.2023. The petitioner has filed Ext.P2 application for re-issue of temporary permit. The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application for re-issuance of temporary permit.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondent.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the

case, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application for re-issuance of temporary -3- permit within a period of three weeks. Till such time, status quo as regards Ext.P1 shall be maintained. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
