ORDER

The petitioners have approached this Court as they apprehend arrest in connection with a crime suspected to be registered by the Punalur Police. Today, when the matter came up for consideration, the learned Public Prosecutor upon instruction submitted that no crime has been registered against the petitioners, even though a petition has been received against them. Therefore, no further orders are necessary in this case. However, it is clarified that, in case presence of the petitioners is required for conducting investigation in connection with the aforesaid petition, the same can be procured by the Investigating Officer after issuing a notice under Section 41(A) of Cr.P.C. ZIYAD RAHMAN A.A. JUDGE DG/22.8.23

The name of the Police Station, “Punalur Police Station” mentioned in the final order dated 21.08.2023 in

B.A.No.6731 of 2023 stands corrected and substituted as “Yeroor Police Station” wherever it occurs, as per order
