JUDGMENT

The above writ petition is filed with following prayers : “(i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ,

order or direction commanding the 1st respondent to discharge

the petitioner from the maintenance obligation of the road, involved in the Agreement No.4/CE-KSRRDA/2016-17 dated 8.3.2017, executed with the 1st respondent, forthwith.

(ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ,

order or direction, commanding the 1st respondent to consider

and dispose of Ext.P4 representation, forthwith with notice to the petitioner.

(iii) Issue such other writ, order or direction which may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.

(iv) Dispense with the translation of the document produced in the vernacular language.” [SIC]

2. The petitioner is challenging the delay on the part of

the 1st respondent in relieving the petitioner from the maintenance agreement for the remaining two years. According WP(C) NO. 24903 OF 2023 4 to the petitioner, the maintenance period is 5 years.
