JUDGMENT

The writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of Ext.P2 request submitted by the petitioner for revision of timings in respect of a stage carriage vehicle bearing registration No. KL 58 A 3456 plying on the route Chundangapoli - Kottiyoor.

2. The petitioner’s case is that, he is the owner of

the above vehicle which is plying on the above route. Due to the congestion of the vehicles on the above route and the change of circumstances, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P2 request before the respondent for revision of timings on 3.6.2023. The petitioner is apprehensive that unless this Court directs the respondent, the said request may not be considered. Hence, the writ petition.

3. Heard; Sri.I.Dinesh Menon, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri. Sreejith V.S., the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. Having considered the pleadings and materials on record, the submissions made across the bar and that Ext.P2 is pending consideration since 3.6.2023, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition. Resultantly, I order the writ petition as follows:- The respondent is directed to consider and dispose

of Ext.P2, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, at any rate,within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the judgment, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard and subject to the priority of pending applications directed to be considered by this Court.
