JUDGMENT

The writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of Ext.P2 request submitted by the petitioner for revision of timings of the regular permit on the route Kariyad - Thalassery in respect of the stage carriage vehicle bearing registration No.KL-58 AB 3381.

2. The petitioner's case is that he is the holder of the

above regular permit in respect of the above vehicle. Due to change of circumstances and the stiff competition that is in the place, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P2 request, on 30.05.2023, before the respondent, seeking revision of timings of the above permit. 5. Having considered the pleadings and materials on

record and taking note of the submissions made across the Bar and the fact that Ext.P2 is pending consideration, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the Resultantly, I order the writ petition as follows:

(i) The respondent is directed to consider and

dispose of Ext.P2 request, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard.
