.....bose senior government pleader sri k.p sudheer, sc, cochin devaswom board this writ petition (civil) having come up for admission on 31.05.2023, the court on the same day delivered the following: p.v. kunhikrishnan,j -------------------------------------- w.p(c) no.16953/2023 ----------------------- dated : 31st may, 2023judgmentthe above writ petition is filed with the following prayers:“i. to issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or orderdirecting the respondent no.3 to consider the fact that the shortage of attendance of the petitioner is due to threat to life as he was assaulted on different occasions and hence condone the shortage of attendance and publish the result of 9th standard exam being withheld immediately to enable the petitioner to seek admission in another school without the loss of classes. ii. to direct the respondents to do all that may be necessary to publish the result, issue transfer and conduct certificate etc. without unnecessary delay and avoid creating hurdles on the education of the petitioner. iii. to grand such other reliefs as this hon'ble court may deem fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case”2. when this writ petition is came up for consideration, thelearned government pleader, after getting instruction submitted that the government have already condoned the shortage of attendance of the petitioner-student as per g.o (rt) no.3071/2023/gedn dt. 29.05.2023. if that be the case, the result of the petitioner in his 9 th standard examination also can be published. therefore, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1 st respondent to publish the result of the petitioner's 9 th standard examination, forthwith. sd/- p.v. kunhikrishnan, judge jma

JUDGMENT

The above writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

“i. To issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or order

directing the respondent No.3 to consider the fact that the shortage of attendance of the petitioner is due to threat to life as he was assaulted on different occasions and hence condone the shortage of attendance and publish the result of 9th standard exam being withheld immediately to enable the petitioner to seek admission in another school without the loss of classes. ii. To direct the respondents to do all that may be necessary to publish the result, issue Transfer and Conduct certificate etc. without unnecessary delay and avoid creating hurdles on the education of the petitioner. iii. To grand such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case”

2. When this writ petition is came up for consideration, the

learned Government Pleader, after getting instruction submitted that the Government have already condoned the shortage of attendance of the petitioner-student as per G.O (Rt) No.3071/2023/GEDN dt. 29.05.2023. If that be the case, the result of the petitioner in his 9 th standard examination also can be published. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1 st respondent to publish the result of the petitioner's 9 th standard examination, forthwith. Sd/- P.V. KUNHIKRISHNAN, Judge jma
