The petitioner has approached this Court by filing this application for anticipatory bail, as he apprehends arrest in connection with a crime registered by the Kuttipuram police station.

2. Today, when the matter came up for

consideration, learned Public Prosecutor upon instructions submitted that, even though Crime No.166/2023 has been registered, the petitioner has not been made as an accused in the said case and he is only a suspect. In such circumstance, this application is closed, recording the above submission, however, clarifying that, in case the presence of the petitioner is required in connection with the aforesaid crime, the same can be procured by the investigating officer, after issuing notice under Section 41A of the Cr.P.C.
