This is an appeal filed under Order XLIII, Rule 1(d) of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908. The appellant challenges the orders of the Sub Court, Attingal, dismissing I.A.Nos.623 and 624 of 2019 in O.S.No.113 of 2006 filed by him to condone the delay and set aside the exparte decree in the suit. There was a delay of 447 days.

2. This appeal was filed along with C.M.Appl.No.139 of

2013 seeking to condone the delay of 1047 days. Consolidated on the appeal and the C.M.Application was ordered. Despite giving enough time, the appellant did not take steps to complete service of notice on the respondent.

3. Today, when this matter is taken up for
