JUDGMENT
The petitioner seeks for a direction to conduct fair, speedy, transparent and judicious investigation into Crime No.792 of 2022 of Kannur Town Police Station, which was transferred to Crime Branch, Kannur and Kasaragod Division as Crime No.220/CBEOW/KNR & KSD/R/2022.
2. Learned Public Prosecutor, pursuant to instructions,
submitted that the investigation is going on effectively and that already 34 witnesses have been questioned and 37 important documents relating to the case has already been seized by the investigating team. It is also submitted that the investigation is going on in full swing and that the same will be completed without delay.
3. In view of the above submission of the learned Public
Prosecutor, which is recorded herewith, I am of the view that no reliefs are required to be granted. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed.
