JUDGMENT

This writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs;

“a) To issue a writ or directions in the nature of or similar to writ of mandamus directing the 1 st and 2nd respondent to obtain the Forensic Laboratory report from the 3rd respondent relating to the Crime No.633/2019 of Eravipuram Police Station as expeditiously as possible in a time bound manner. b) To issue a writ or directions in the nature of or similar to writ of mandamus directing the 3 rd respondent to submit a report forthwith to the 2 nd respondent and the concerned Court. c) Pass such other order or further directions in favour of the petitioner which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

2. When this matter is taken up for

consideration today, it is the submission of the learned Public Prosecutor upon instructions from the Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram that the necessary reports have already been forwarded to the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-II, Kollam.

3. In the light of the above submission, no

further orders are necessary in this case. Hence, the writ petition is only to be closed. The writ petition is, accordingly, closed.
