JUDGMENT

The petitioner has filed this Original Petition seeking the following reliefs:-

(i) To issue directions to the Principal District and Sessions (Special) Court, Thrisur to dispose of the case pending as the SC Hon’ble Court, in the interest of justice.

(ii) To call for a report from the Principal District and Sessions (Special) Court, Thrisur with regard to the present status of the case pending as SC 205/2017.

(iii) To dispense with the English translation of the documents produced in vernacular language.

(iv) To grant such other reliefs which this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice. ..3..

2. On 11.01.2023, this Court directed the Registry to obtain a report from the learned Sessions Judge, Thrissur, (Special Court) on the time required for the disposal of S.C.No.205 of 2017.

3. This Court obtained a report from the District &

Sessions Judge (Special Judge) to the effect that the matter could be disposed of within a period of four months. Therefore, the District & Sessions Judge (Special Judge) Thrisur, is directed to dispose of S.C. No.205 of 2017 within a period of four months from this date. The Original Petition is allowed.
