JUDGMENT

The petitioner is working as Manager Grade II in the 1st respondent, the Kerala State Financial Enterprises Limited. The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging Ext.P3 order to the extent it transfers him from Sakthan Thampuran Nagar Branch to Thrissur Evening Branch. According to the petitioner, the transfer order is issued not on any administrative grounds and that the transfer would cause undue hardships to him.

2. A counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents resisting the averments of the petitioner.

3. This Court, on 25.07.2024, had ordered to maintain status quo as on that day as regards the posting of the petitioner and the said order has been WP(C) NO. 26666 OF 2024 : 3 : extended till today.

4. When this writ petition came up for further consideration today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that clause VII of Ext.P1

guidelines provides for an appeal against any order

of transfer and that the petitioner prefers to avail the said remedy. In the light of the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of, without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to avail his remedy as provided in Ext.P1 guidelines. To enable him to avail the said remedy, the order of status quo will continue till 02.08.2024.
