The above writ petition is filed with the following prayers; “ i) Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate, writ, order or direction commanding the respondents to dispose of Exhibit-P3 in accordance with law granting the petitioner renewal of licence for conducting meat stalls in the building bearing No. 621/ in ward 7 owned by the 2nd respondent. ii) Issue a writ of prohibition or any other appropriate writ, order or direction interdicting the respondents from conducting auction of meat stalls for the year 2024-25. iii) To dispense with the production of the translation in to English, the Exhibit in Malayalam, pending disposal of the Writ Petition Civil. iv) Grant such other reliefs which this Hon'ble court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of this case. ” Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent- Panchayat submits that an auction was conducted in which the petitioner participated and is now running a meat stall.
