The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3, which is a request by the Managing Director of the 2nd respondent Company to the Secretary to the Government to raise the retirement age of employees in the Company from 58 to 60 years. Counsel for the 2nd respondent submits that the petitioner has already retired from service on 29.2.2024 after attaining the age of 58 years. Therefore, no orders can be passed in this regard, as he has already vacated the office. In view of the submission that the petitioner has already superannuated, he is not entitled to any reliefs sought for and therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
