This is the second bail application seeking regular bail filed by accused No.2 in Crime No. 17/2018 of Excise Circle Office, Thiruvananthapuram, for having committed offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (The NDPS Act).

2. The earlier application was withdrawn. Now, the petitioner

claims parity with the third accused, whose bail application was considered by this Court in B.A.No.5692/2023 as per orders dated 20.10.2023 (Anx.A-2) relying on the report filed by the State Forensic Science Laboratory in his favour on a different context.
