Dated this the 25th day of April, 2024

This is an application for quashing Annexure A Final Report in Crime No.127/2022 of Pangode Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram alleging the commission of offences punishable under Sections 363 and 354 of the Indian Penal Code, which case has been taken on file as SC No.1211/2022 on the file of the Fast Track Special Court (POCSO), Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram. It is submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties and affidavit has been filed by CW1 as well as the aggrieved in this case.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor on instructions submit that the matter has been settled and settlement is genuine.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Affidavits on behalf of CW1, the father of the

informant/aggrieved and CW2, the aggrieved has been filed in which it is stated that the matter has been compromised between the parties and that there is no further grievance in the matter. As the matter has been settled, no purpose would be served by proceeding with the trial of the case and would be a sheer waste of time of the Court. In such circumstances, in the interest of justice Annexure A FIR is quashed. This Criminal M.C is disposed of as above.
