in the high court of kerala at ernakulampresent the honourable mr. justice p.somarajan monday, the 25th day of march 2024 / 5th chaithra, 1946 against the order dated 26.03.2013 in crl.m.p.no.1059/2011 in cc no.412 of 2009 of judicial magistrate of first class -i, kannurrevision petitioner/3rd accused: neethu v.devasya, aged 26 years, d/o devasya, vadakke parambil house, pulikkurumba, naduvil by advs. sri.s.rajeev sri.k.k.dheerendrakrishnan respondent/state: state of kerala represented by the public prosecurtor, high court of kerala, ernakulam 682031 (crime no 298/2008 of kannur town police station, kannur district) sri.pp.sri.c.n.prabhakaran this criminal revision petition having come up for admission on 25.03.2024, the court on the same day delivered the following:orderunder the guise of this revision, the entire proceedings before the trial court was stalled for a period of more than ten years, ie., right from the year 2014 onwards. when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the revision petitioner fairly submitted that he is not pressing the revision presumably on the reason that there is no sufficient ground to allow this revision. hence, the criminal revision petition will stand dismissed as not pressed, with a direction to the trial court to take up the matter as expeditiously as possible and adjudicate the dispute involved in this case. sd/- p.somarajan judge msp
