JUDGMENT

The petitioners are the titleholders in possession of 15.50 ares of land in Survey Nos. 85/13-1, 85/14-1, Chelamattom Village, Kunnathnadu Taluk, Ernakulam District. They have approached this Court seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 and P5, Form-6 applications filed under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Rules, 2008.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners

and the learned Government Pleader. In the facts and circumstances of the case and taking into consideration that Ext.P4 and P5 are statutory applications, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent/RDO to consider and pass orders on Ext.P4 and P5 applications, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
