1. The present Petition has been listed for hearing after nearly 20 years.

2. None appears on behalf of the Respondent.

3. Learned counsel representing the Petitioner submits that

pursuant to the order passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal („CAT‟), the Respondent has never claimed the benefit of Grade-I Driver in the MT cadre with effect from 01.01.1996, though the said benefit was extended to the Respondent with effect from 29.07.1999. Learned counsel further prays that the present Petition may be disposed of with liberty to file an application for revival of the same in the event the Respondent raises any claim in the future.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the present Petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed for. The pending applications also stand closed.
