1. By way of this application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the applicant seeks regular bail in connection with FIR No. 8/2022 dated 02.01.2022, registered at Police Station Shalimar Bagh, District North-West, New Delhi, under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
2. Mr. Yudhvir Singh Chauhan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, has handed up an updated status report, which is taken on record.
3. After some hearing, Mr. Narender Mukhi, learned counsel for the applicant, seeks permission to withdraw this bail application, but seeks directions for expeditious trial.
4. I am informed that, of the remaining witnesses, only two are BAIL APPLN. 3550/2025 Page 1 of 2 material witnesses, and the others are official witnesses.
5. Having regard to the period of incarceration of the applicant, the
applicant is at liberty to move the learned Sessions Court for expedition of the trial. The Sessions Court is requested to consider the same in accordance with its own Board and the age of matters pending before it.
6. The bail application is dismissed as withdrawn.
7. It is made clear that this Court has not made any comment on the
