Writ Petition (Crl.) 2825/2016 has been instituted by the sister of Ranbir Singh Gulia seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus. Various allegations have been made in this petition against the wife and children of Ranbir Singh including that Ranbir Singh was admitted to a de-addiction Centre without informing the other family members.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since Ranbir Singh has now been examined by the Doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences under the orders of the Court and the fact that he has joined the company of his wife and children, the petition may be disposed of.

3. Writ Petition (Crl.) 2757/2016 has been instituted by the wife of Ranbir Singh seeking protection to their life and liberty. Various allegations have been made in this writ petition by the wife of Ranbir Singh against the respondents No.5 & 6 who are the sister and brother-in-law of Ranbir Singh respectively. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents No.5 & 6 denies the allegations so made.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Ranbir Singh is residing with his family.
