1. This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent not to harass the Petitioners except according to due process of law and pass such further or other orders as this Honourable court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that, on the basis of the complaint given by the defacto complainant against this petitioner, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.109 of 2016 under Section 366(A) IPC against one Palanisamy, who is the son of the 1st petitioner, in connection with which, the respondent police are conducting enquiry. The petitioners are directed to participate in the enquiry and during enquiry, they shall not be harassed and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest, if they are involved in any cognizable offence.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
