1. This petition has been filed to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Madurai to dispose of Crl.R.P.No.35 of 2015 and the connected petitions pending on its file within a time period to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. The respondent police registered a case in Crime No.152 of 2012 and after completing the investigation, filed a final report in C.C.No.53 of 2013 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur for various offences against nine accused. The accused filed an application under Section 239 Cr.P.C. for discharge, which was allowed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur by order dated 13.05.2015, challenging which the State has filed Crl.R.P.35 of 2015 before the Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai and the same is pending disposal on the ground that records are awaited.
