(Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to survey petitioner's land and place the survey stones comprised in S.No.477/1C to an extent of 2200 sq.ft. situated at Shanmugasundarapuram Village, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2016 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.)
1. Heard both sides.
2. By consent, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. It is the stand of the petitioner that he had made a representation to conduct the survey and place the survey stone in his property comprising Survey No.477/1C situated at Shanmugasundarapuram Village, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District. It appears that till date no positive steps have been taken by the second respondent/Tahsildar, Antidpatti.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that he had addressed a representation dated 27.01.2016 in person to the second respondent/Tahsildar, Andipatti, Theni District and paid necessary charges to conduct survey and place the stone. Till date his representation has not met with any positive response.

In view of the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2016 is pending on the file of the second respondent/Thasildar, Andipatti, Theni District, this Court, in the interest of justice, fair play, directs the second respondent to look into the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.01.2016, in a fair, free and dispassionate fashion and to dispose of the said representation on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
