Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. The petitioners are accused Nos.5 & 6 in Crime No.437/2014 of Chirayinkeezhu Police Station which has been registered for the offences under Sections 143, 147, 452, 506 (ii), 387, 427, 149 of I.PC. and Section 27 of Arms Act.

The allegation against them is that they along with the co-accused trespassed into the house of the first informant, assaulted her and threatened to cause her death with dangerous weapons which they were carrying with them. It is submitted that in the F.I. Statement there is no whisper that the petitioners are involved in the incident.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor.

4. The petitioners have been in custody since 13.6.2014. Much progress has been made in the B.A. No.4783 of 2014 -2- investigation. The petitioners are aged 18 years.

5. Having regard to the above facts, I am inclined to grant the prayer in the application.
