Civil Writ Petition No.8909 of 2014 {1} IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH Date of Decision: May 09, 2014 Pardeep Kumar & others ...Petitioners Versus State of Haryana & another ...Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE AUGUSTINE GEORGE MASIH Present: Mr.Deepak Sonak, Advocate, for the petitioneRs.***** AUGUSTINE GEORGE MASIH, J.(ORAL) Counsel for the petitioneRs.after arguing for some time, prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to approach the respondents by way of representation pointing out therein that now they have received equivalence certificates for M.Sc.(IT).which is stated to be equivalent to M.Sc.(Computer Sciences) and further that Shri Kuldip Singh and other similarly placed employees, who have the same qualification as the petitioneRs.are still continuing in service, although in the impugned order it was mentioned that action is being taken to dispense with their services.
Counsel states that the said representation shall be filed within a period of two weeks from today to the Commissioner and Secretary, Education Department, Government of Haryana-respondent No.1, which may be directed to be considered and decided within some specified time.

If such a representation is filed within the stipulated period, the same shall be considered and decided by respondent No.1 within a period of six weeks of submission of such representation.
In case the claim of the petitioners is not to be accepted, then a well reasoned and speaking order be passed and conveyed to the petitioners forthwith.
